Bronson have been kickin around the traps since 2007. Whilst there have been changes in name and members over that time, one thing they have stayed true to, is their sound. Whilst they receive many labels (like the one above) the band tend to simply think that their music is Heavy and was made to kick your teeth in.

Over the years they have played with most of Melbourne Metal’s finest and have appreciated every moment of it. Every opportunity they get to be on stage is one which they leave it all on the line, they pride themselves on melting faces with their live shows.

Having released a demo in 2008, an EP in 2010, a Single + Doco in 2011, the band are now currently in the midst of putting together an album which will see the hard work and dedication over the past 6 years come together, with what will be their finest work to date.

Whilst they take their music seriously, the bands moto ‘life’s to short to be serious about most things, so we take each moment as it comes. We play as hard as we can live and we make awesome mates along the way, its the Melbourne Metal way of life.’ Their music is their passion, it’s unpretentious, heavy, and is all about the good times.

EMBERS OF REVENGE was born on the 7th of July 2011 from a meeting of 5 friends with a mutual passion for Metal music and a longing to make a difference. Seeking to find a place where real art would be appreciated, they found their various musical influences blended beautifully, creating music that is presented in the mood of old fantasies, and the passion for life.

Rising from the ashes of Melbourne’s dormant metal scene, Decimatus formed with one intention: to make the music they love that no one else is playing. In early 2010, mixing killer groove riffs with brutal fast pace drums, Decimatus did just that. Writing the music for their EP ‘The Betrayer’, Guitarists Mather and Booga, drummer Adam and bassist Andrew didn’t become a complete entity until vocalist Tommy joined the fray in mid 2010. Since then they have literally been decimating the Melbourne metal scene, shredding stage after stage. With the release of their debut EP “The Betrayer” Decimatus have only just begun to shape the face of Melbourne Metal … The world is next.

Pergana was founded in 2007 as a project by Adrian Benegas. Having put together a collection of completed musical ideas, melodies and lyrics, Adrian felt it was time to enter a studio. In mid 2008, Adrian talked to the Holzwarth brothers about recording a demo together. They liked the songs and the idea, and they started working together. At the beginning of 2009 the project became a band when Mauro Mercado and Audrey Laure came along with the very same ideas, goals, musical influences and dreams as Adrian.

In 2010, Pergana released their first promotional single “Frozen Heart”, introducing the band to the metal scene. In 2011 the EP “The Mirror of Silence” was recorded and released, and the journey of Pergana begins in earnest.

Label and band news for November / December 2011

BlueFreya Video

A number of BlueFreya bands have taken the time to prepare a short message for the Christmas/New Year Holiday season. You can check them out here at the BlueFreya youTube Channel (feel free to subscribe to keep up to date with new videos ): Seasons Greetings

Thanks to all the bands for the help in putting the clip together…

New Releases

* Fateless Tears – Dawn’s Oblivion (Digital Single), November 20

The latest single from New Mexico’s Fateless Tears is actually a 3 track release. Along with the the ‘A side’ of “Dawn’s Oblivion” there is “Standing Still” and “Stasis”. The new work continues the direction that the band have set through 2011, with a more mellow sound overall, yet retaining plenty of the power riffs that drive the Fateless Tears sound. Vocalist S Lee again delivers, and partner Richard Sets a rich and powerful background for the vocal melodies to weave across.

* Amadeus – Dust in the Mouth of God (EP), November 20

Also coming out of High Desert Studios in New Mexico is the debut release by Amadeus, the project headed by guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Chris Riggins. This 5 track EP is hard uncompromising metal, with plenty of depth to challenge. Each track takes the overall Death metal base sound in a variety of directions, and the scope of the songwriting is wide. This is an amazing hard edged metal debut from Riggins.

* Fateless Tears – Halogen Dawn (EP), December 14

The second Fateless Tears release in a month – “Halogen Dawn” is a retrospective and reworking of classic FT ballads from previous releases. There’s never been a better opportunity to hear the essence of the softer heart of Fateless Tears.

UK Distribution via Ravenheart Music

BlueFreya is pleased to announce a joint distribution arrangement with leading UK Femme Metal label Ravenheart Music ( www.ravenheartmusic.com ).
