Hailing from the outer suburbs of Brisbane, Australia, Trepidation is here to show everyone who they are, and what they’re about. Finally, a band that epitomizes what the rock-metal scene is all about.

Consisting of front man Aaron Bedford, Kyle Little on lead guitar, Josh Dawson on bass and Cody Brockman on drums, Trepidation hid away from the music scene throughout 2008 to perfect their songwriting and their guitar skills.

Trepidation’s sound couldn’t be more of an aural insanity; they could easily challenge the shredability of most metal guitarists out there. “We’re all about the music…We’re not out to achieve the ‘American Dream’, and that’s not going to change” declares Aaron.

Trepidation knows how to pack a punch on their sets, winning over judges at Brisbane’s 2011 RockSchool Challenge Competition where they scored ‘Most Original Band.’ Growing up listening to Alice in Chains, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Metallica, Slipknot and Slayer, Trepidation has been moulded into one of Brisbane’s most promising metal acts.

They’re ready and revving in 2011, preparing to tour the East-Coast of Australia in support of their long-awaited debut album “Now or Never” which features 10 of their hardest tracks, including their hit, “Take a Chance.” The record rarely eases up for more than a moment, with a blistering beat and hard-edged riffs.

With a full set of originals, they have no time for whiny ballads, proving they know exactly how to write a pub anthem. These metal heads exhibit merciless tracks, with enough energy to make it seem like the days of droning, watered-down commercial rock are gone for good. Trepidation is still thrashing right to the very top, and by the look of things; they’re not giving in ‘til they get what they want.
